MAILBOX REPAIR REQUEST

The Allegan County Road Commission does not maintain State routes (M-89, M-40, etc.), city/village streets, or private roads. We have two options for mailboxes damaged during snow removal operations on our county maintained roads:

1. Request a check for $40 and complete the repair or replacement yourself.

2. Request repair/replace - Mailboxes or posts will be repaired or replaced as necessary with standard steel mailboxes and treated 4"x4" wood posts.

Note: We do not stop plowing operations to repair mailboxes. Crews repair mailboxes after snow has ceased and all roads are cleared. Anticipate 2-3 weeks for mailbox repairs.
